Add Your Event!

Are you planning an event in Northstowe between the beginning of November 2022 and the end of February 2023, that is open to the community and celebrates winter? Then let us know so that it can be promoted as part of the Northstowe Winter Festival!

Northstowe Winter Festival celebrates all that is wonderful about winter: Advent, Christmas, Hannukah, Yalda, or something unconnected to faith but bringing people together at this time of year. It aims to make it easier for everyone in our community to find out what’s happening locally during these busy months.

The website – northstowewinterfestival.co.uk – is a simple listings page. We’ll support the website with a dedicated Facebook page; banners, posters and flyers distributed around Northstowe; articles in Northstowe News and Longstanton Life; and (hopefully!) mentions on local radio and tv. We’ll also provide event organisers with brand assets (logos etc.) to be used during your own promotion.

We are delighted that, thanks to generous funding from Cambridgeshire County Council on behalf of the Northstowe Placemaking & Community Building Fund, Northstowe Arts is able to provide coordination of the Northstowe Winter Festival 2022 at no charge to either event organisers or individuals within the community.

So how do you add your event?

Please email hello@northstowearts.co.uk with the following details:

• Event name

• Organiser’s name (i.e. your group if you are an established group, or whoever you want to be publicly recognised as the main organiser)

• Event date and time

• Event location

• Up to 50 words of text about the event

• An image (ideally 1:1 or 4:3)

• A url for people to find more information (could be a website or social media)
