Lakes Signage Project Update
Have you been following local artist Chloe Leaper's progress with this project on Facebook or Instagram?
At the moment, she's working on a sign for Unity Lake, one of the new lakes in Northstowe - named by local resident Matthew Wood. You can find out more about the project here!
Chloe ran a workshop with staff from Homes England, using ancient geometry (and an initial measurement from their individual index fingers) to construct their own ‘personal pentagons’.
Look out for details of workshops for the Halcyon Mere sign open to everyone coming very soon!
In the meantime... Have your say on the signs!
Choose one colour
Create a pattern in the pentagon grid, inspired by Northstowe's lakes. It could be abstract or representational, symmetrical or assymetrical, or a mindful doodle!
